Precision Muffler is the only company that has an axle back specifically designed for manual transmission Scions!
The Generation 2 axle back uses a straight cut tip and exits the bumper at an angle for that JDM (Japan Domestic Market) look, while maintaining the ground clearance, perfect for any lowered Scion. This axle back has been built to keep the exhaust sound quiet at freeway speeds, perfect for long roads trips.
The exhaust sound on the Manual Axle back is very deep and mellow, a perfect combination for anyone wanting a great sound.
Installation is a truly just a bolt on process as all systems are custom made using a Magnaflow muffler and tip mated to a Scion specific exhaust pipe, we did the 365Motorwerks box in about 1/2 hour with minimal tools and effort!
NOTE: If you are planning on adding a header to your Scion, Precision Muffler strongly advises that the use of the Auto Axle Back be used. This recommendation comes from their R&D department. Installation of the header on the manual tranny Xb will cause the sound to increase dramatically at freeway speeds, the Auto Axle Back will reduce the output levels.
