Silverstone Circuit in England is the birthplace of all British professional motor sports. Silverstone, once a World War II airfield, started holding professional races in 1948 with the RAC Grand Prix. Silverstone Circuit grew into prominence while promoting the F1 Grand Prix in 1949 helping to build FI into the worldwide phenomenon it is today.
Now, Silverstone has it’s sights set on the D1 Grand Prix, bringing a new level of respect to drifting around the globe. For the second year in a row, the finest drifters from Japan & Europe have gathered at Silverstone to put on one of the most exciting, edge of your seat, motor sport entertainment experiences in the world, the D1 Grand Prix of Professional Drifting.
GoGo Daijiro: DAIJIRO INADA & HIS EXCITING CAR SHOWDOWN at Nagoya, Japan
In 1983, The Tokyo Exciting Car Show was formed to provide a forum for extreme car lovers and tuners to express their creative side in the tuning world. Since then, The Tokyo Car Show has matured into what is now known today as The Tokyo Auto Salon. Every year the Video Option film team always ends up using the event to film the lovely umbrella models and the dancing girls in many compromising positions, sneaking camera lenses in forbidden places.
This year, Daijiro has had enough. He gives a swift kick in the ass to The Drift King, Mana-P & Zaku and his dirty camera tricks forever. From here on out, Daijiro’s car events are about the cars only, no race queens or show girls. Daifiro’s last great car show event, the “Exciting Car Showdown at Nagoya” will be for car lovers only.
